I don’t even know if this qualifies as Menstech per se but ITS COOL! The premise of these little devices is basically a Tamagotchi; all similarities end there. Oh let me back up. A Tamagotchi (click for wiki definition) is a digital pet or a pocket monster. A LCD game, in which you feed, play with, teach and otherwise “raise” a digital pet. If you mess up, like in real life, your pet dies. Cube World is an interactive place where pixellated stick people live, play and pester each other. There are four characters to collect and each one has a different hobby: Slim plays with a stick, Dodger plays with his ball, Scoop plays with his dog, and Whip does rope tricks?

Now of course there are buttons on the front of the unit so you can interact with each single little stick man. You and your little friend can do kick ups and pull ups, snake charm and juggling depending on the character, but he will also entertain himself depending on his mood. The cube features motion sensors on its sides so you can tumble your little guy around as well.

How does Cube World differentiate itself from your standard Tamagotchi? When Cube Worlds are connected the stick men will interact with each other and leap into neighboring screens, completely without your input. You can arrange your cubes in any configuration as long as the cubes are touching squarely. I mean you could have 20 of these things connected, but only 4 guys can be onscreen at once. You’ll never be sure what you stick figures will do. Put Slim and Dodger together and they could play baseball; Scoop and Slim might play fetch with the dog and stick. Your stick men might even perform an funky synchronized dance routine, play leapfrog, have a group hug, a tug of war, or beat the living daylights out of each other Matrix style! Get one!
