Nintendo has always been on the forefront of genuine and unique user input and interface devices for its systems. Remember the “Power Glove” or for that matter the first Gun for a system was for Nintendo and the Nintendo DS. The Wii controller with out a doubt is going to change the face of gaming. Make note and take my word, the next NEXT generation systems will ALL have unique interfaces to make game play more realistic. I actually think this may pave the way for the reemergence of the arcade. I miss arcades! Plus I applaud any technology that encourages humans to interact with EACH OTHER. Maybe we will start to see like an arcade/karaoke bar sort of establishment. Who knows, but I can’t wait to see what the future brings!

The Nintendo Wii is now portable. Chinavision has released a 7” LCD monitor for the Nintendo Wii. It connects to the back of the console and folds down against the Nintendo Wii for easy transport. There are 2 ways to power up either by using the Wii’s power brick or by using an adapter that plugs into the cigarette lighter.

The LCD Monitor can be purchased for $101.45 off of Chinavision’s website.

Nintendo’s new WiiWare is in hope of a virtual laboratory for new games. With low development barriers and unigue gaming experiences with the Nintendo Wii, developers should be capable of trying new ideas easier and for less. However in the mean time Wii owners can download new games from all different genres. WiiWare allows consumers to decide which games are going to be big with Wii Points.

The first U.S. WiiWare games will be available on May 12.
