If you ask pretty much any gamer if he misses all of the old retro games which were made back in the 80′s and 90′s, the answer will of course be yes. The problem is that now if you want to buy an old gaming system, you’re going to have to pay hundreds of dollars, and even then it’s not going to be in a good condition. All of that is completely out the window now though, thanks to a brand new product that has been released this year.
The Retro Game Emulator allows you to play almost any older game, by simply loading over the roms to the device. It comes with an absolutely phenomenal quality screen, audio system, and you don’t even need an emulator! This is a perfect gift for anyone you want to start on games, or any gamer at all for that matter. It also eliminates the need to continuously by games, because you can get them all for free! Order your Retro Game Emulator now!

Most of us would be happy with a standard pair of headphones, but then again an out-of-the-box standard issue pair might not be up to par with what discerning ears are willing to settle for. Nice to know that there are after market headphones out there which are capable of filling in the gap, and the Coloud Colors headphones are more than willing to step in and do the job. Of course, this has nothing to do with Care Bears (anyone remembers that cute little cartoon with plenty of love going around?) despite boasting series of 7 uniformly colored headphones, but rather, it is a tribute to the rainbow of sorts, but you shouldn’t expect traditional rainbow colors as it comes in red, white, black, green, blue, purple and pink. All Coloud Colors headphones will also ship with a microphone remote that will play nice with a range of smartphones including the almighty iPhone, HTC devices as well as BlackBerrys among other handsets that rely on a 3.5mm standard plug. Of course, while this is nothing near Harman Kardon levels of audio quality nor will it bring your listening experience to a totally elevated level, at least it should sound better than what you get with your handset purchase, which probably costs a couple of bucks to manufacture anyways. The Coloud Colors headphones won’t put a dent in your pocket either with a suggested retail price of $45. Also known as the C22M model, it allows you answer incoming calls thanks to the aforementioned microphone/remote function, pausing whatever music that is being played at that moment. Just like Apple’s iPhone which was designed in California but manufactured in China, so the Coloud headphones are developed in Sweden and produced in China. Hopefully there won’t be any sort of performance related issues due to the country of manufacturing, and we hope that stringent quality controls are in place to boot.

Fancy picking up a tablet device? Actually, the Apple iPad has been doing gangbusters sales for the longest time already ever since it was released, and so far there hasn’t been any real competition to this device that can challenge its lofty position. Well, not until now – Samsung’s Galaxy Tablet might have a smaller screen size at 7-inches, but it certainly isn’t any slouch when it comes to performance, running on the iOS’ rival platform, the Android operating system. Most recently, the Samsung Galaxy Tab was released by US Cellular, where it is capable of delivering a premium mobile entertainment experience on the go, without getting bogged down by a bulky device. After all, it tips the scales at just 13 ounces while measuring 12 millimeters thin.
The Samsung P1000 Galaxy Tablet will be able to fit in nicely into a pocket or purse, so both genders will be able to carry one without growing extra muscles overnight. Apart from the aforementiond brilliant 7-inch enhanced TFT display screen, the Samsung Galaxy Tab is also powered by a speedy 1GHz Hummingbird Application processor that is capable of supporting 3D graphics as well as smooth Web browsing, followed by a 1.3 megapixel front camera and a 3 megapixel rear-facing camera (for video calling and photo taking purposes, obviously), alongside the Android 2.2 operating system that throws in full support for Adobe Flash Player 10.1. One thing about the Samsung Galaxy Tab would be its similarity with Samsung’s very own Galaxy S smartphones, which would mean carrying Samsung’s Social Hub application that is capable of synchronizing a user’s Messaging and Contacts to initiate the sending and receiving of information, regardless of whether it is e-mail, instant messaging, social network updates or SMS messages. Not only that, calendar information from portal calendars, such as Google Calendar, and social networking services are displayed together in one calendar with two-way synchronization. You will also benefit from services such as Google Maps Navigation (Beta) and Google Goggles amongst others. With Wi-Fi connectivity, you ought to be able to surf at your favorite coffee place without missing a beat. Any takers for the Galaxy Tab?

Need some cool headphones for your Iphone (Ipod & More)? Like to wear a conversation starter? Check out the V-Moda Vibe II headphones from V-Moda. We tested them out with our Iphone and wow the sound is great. We are not Audiophile’s but we thought the sound was awesome by our standards. The bass was really cool for such small headphones, if your into bass… It was also handy that the headphones also double as a Headset so we didn’t have to carry 2 devices around.
I made some calls and asked how well the sound was and they thought it sounded great. I have only tested inside at the desk though, so i’ll be doing some further testing over the next couple days in the car and on the treadmill to update how well the removable sport earhooks work. They feel well inside the ear with the soft silicone fittings (4 sizes included)…
Like I said i’ll add some more thoughts over the coming days, but we so far so good. Really cool looking headphones and great sound. Some more specs & pics after the break…
