Sony Launches the Hippest Spy Phone Ever

Depending on which side of the fence that you are sitting on, you may or may not find technology’s advancement of spyware intriguing, or downright intrusive. The stalker or controlling personality in some will love the new gadgets out there that allow anyone the ability to spy on or keep track of certain someones. And the latest gadget from Nokia is no exception. Here you have a phone that will do all that you need it to if you are looking to keep tabs on someone. Or, if you aren’t, it will really freak you out and at least be a not so gentle reminder that the world is not a private one any more. Nokia has actually developed products that enable users to eavesdrop covertly on anyone they want by dialing secret codes into their phone. But oh, it doesn’t even begin to end there.
The selected phones will actually make you feel like a CIA agent, which only leads one to wonder, if these are available to the general public, what kind of technology does the government have access to? With these phones you will be able to receive notifications when the phone is turned on, whenever a call is taken or received (and who is doing the calling or receiving), send you copies of text messages received by the phone, and will also allow you to hear in room conversations of the user by opening the microphone when you dial a pre-defined number.
All notifications and alerts will be sent to you covertly through a private SMS message, but wait, it gets worse (or better, depending on where you are on that fence). If you call the phone when it is being used for a call, which you will know it is doing so by your covert SMS message, you can actually intercept both sides of the conversation to hear all that is being said by both parties. No log of any calls or SMS’s will be made on yours or the victim’s phone so all of your spying/stalking/controlling will be done as privately as you want it to be.
What do you think? Creepy enough? Well, if you decide to go that creepy, you will have to do so with a huge bag of cash in hand, as these phones are nearing the 2K mark. That’s right. But there is no price to pay on information, is there?
