Logitech Produces Another Gaming Keyboard
We are at a point with the Star Wars merchandising phenomenon that you can put Darth Vader on just about anything, and bank on the fact that it will sell. And this is exactly what Logitech has done with their G13 Advanced Gaming Keyboard. For those familiar with Logitech products, the G13 is kind of a combination between the Logitech G15 keyboard, and the G9 Laser Mouse. However, the G13 is definitely a more improved model than its gaming keyboard counterparts and is considered to be a superior product to many out there. Why? As Logitech professes, the G13 is unlike any other game board, as all others before it have focused specifically on the programmability features.
The G13 on the other hand is an advanced gameboard that incorporates the principles of the award winning Logitech Comfort Wave design, and as such, will give you a powerful advantage over those who are forced to work with less. Features of the G13 include three different game modes to start. You will find 25 programmable keys, and a programmable analog stick which in itself will allow you to control your game 87 different ways. Further, the board allows for custom button profiles as well as creating macros without having to pause your game.
An additional feature of the G13 is the 160 x 43 pixel Game Panel LCD that shows live game stats, system info, and even messages from other players. And if you are a gamer that uses the most popular games out there, World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade, Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar, and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, you will love how the G13 offers you pre-configured settings. You can expect the G13 to be out in time for Christmas, and it will run you about $80 bucks which is pretty good considering the wealth of features you get with this.
