The LG KC910 Renoir

Ah yes, if we could only take pictures that could be compared to artisan pros such as Renoir, non? Well, LG has decided that in fact we can, with a cell phone/digital camera that is being touted as the be all and end all of do-it-all devices. The Renoir is the successor to LG’s Viewty and is offering features that all cell users truly appreciate, super slim and now almost completely full face 400×240 touch screen. Yes, the iPhone has truly launched a new wave of technological advancement with touch screen devices being the only kind that are considered cutting edge when it comes to wireless devices, and so the Renoir aims to bring you just that. A cutting edge camera with all the multimedia bells and whistles too – Dolby enhanced sound, DivX playback, and 8 megapixels to work with just to name a few. Right now, the Viewty is launching very well in the UK, and if these features aren’t enough to entice you to hop on board, perhaps the 8GB media card that LG is throwing into the kit may be just the ticket to push you off the fence and a proud new owner.

Standard software that comes included will enable you to use email, browse the web, take notes, enable Bluetooth, watch television, use GPS, and make appointments in your calendar. This on top of a huge assortment of games. The in-phone camera offers its own unique features, and some even better than the average digital camera, which is this phone’s selling feature. Modes of camera include smile detection, blemish removal, and blink detection. What CAN’T this phone do? Ummm….make dinner? Check out the press release here.
