It’s the Super Phone!

tamer koseli super phoneOne of the best features of any cell phone is it’s portability, its size, and its unique compact design that disables your need from having to lug an extra item around. In fact, we know that cell phone designers are always trying to out do each other with thinner, smaller, more compact phones. So why the Super Phone then? Designer Tamer Koseli has now created the longest mobile phone ever. Outside of earning that reputation, I don’t quite see what he’s gained from the experience. Tamer Koseli however created this product with straight-up productivity in mind. That being said, this device has no additional multi-media capabilities. No camera, no MP3 player, no video, no frills. Nope. None of it. But it DOES have a touchscreen.

Okay, two actually. The first is an OLED display that gives you your basic info such as date and time and missed calls, while the other screen is where you can do scrolling, and things of that nature. Scrolling of what, I am not sure. However, I am wondering at what point the mobile phone can no longer be called a mobile phone. I’m also guessing repairs aren’t going to be cheap, so what do you do when it breaks? Use it as a light saber while you’re waiting for your real one to come in on order?
