Philips UV Sanitizer Review
We’ve checked out the UV sanitizer, and its easy to use! It comes with UV bulbs installed and extra brush head holders for different models of brush heads. You don’t need a brush head holder for the sonicare e-series, but my Proresults head needed one. It was easy to put the holder into the Sanitizer and clean up the brush head. Just pop in the holder, stick on the brush head, close the door and press the top button to to start sanitizing. It takes 10 minutes and its done. It also shuts itself off. Also has a drip tray to get rid of excess water. I’m not a scientist, but anything to keep away bacteria (e. coli & s. mutans) must be a good idea!
It can hold 2 brushes at one time, and can also be used for a more hygienic storage area for your brush…
I’ve read some reviews around the web and some are sceptical about whether a light can kill bacteria? Sonicare answers some questions about UV light on there site.
