Polk Audio MiDock10 iPod Portable Docking Station

polk_audio_midock10.jpgWell, if you’re like us you’ve probably seen plenty different versions of this before at your local radio shack, wal-mart, or even online. But hey, what’s another? Similar to all the other ipod portable stero/docking stations, Polk Audio announced today that they are launching a new audio (obviously) product line focused on design — read both looks and useability. The first off the assembly line will be the MiDock10 portable audio system. Not much innovation from what I can see but at least they took a clue from consumer complaints and made it so the iPod fully docks into the unit so you can at least carry it aroudn without having t remove the iPod.

The added a nice little handle on the side — or top depending on how you look at it — but honestly I’ve seen better, cooler ways of slipping a carrying handle into the design. It’s listed on their site for $179 but if you click on over to radio shack you can grab one for $149.
